These Photo's were taken in 2006 in Preston.The bulk of them being of Preston bus at their Deepdale depot prior to their takeover by Stagecoach. Other operators along with Preston bus are seen around the city and at Preston Bus Station.

The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust held their annual Open Day at Bridgeton Bus Garage on 11th October 2009.As usual a large and varied collection of vehicles were on show in various stages of restoration. A frequent service also ran to The Museum of Transport. Many Thanks to all concerned for Yet another Top Class Event.

Many Thanks to all involved.I will certainly pay another visit. No doubt a lot of other people will pay a return visit too.

Fleetwoods Tram Sunday Event is one of the most attended events in the U.K. It is unique as the whole town transforms into the setting for this event.It has something for everyone,Shops for the Ladies,stalls for the Enthusiast,Rides for the kids ( of all ages ) Pubs and Hamburgers and hotdogs. Oh ! and it has Trams ,Buses and vintage vehicles as well. Well worth a visit.

At the same time as my visit to VLT I paid a visit to Cardiff .I doubt there would be quite a varied selection today.

The Museum of Transport in housed in the Kelvin Hall. Glasgow,and is a very popular attraction.The museum's collection of transport ranges from horse-drawn vehicles to Trams,The Subway to Buses.and from cars to Steam Engines.
The Clyde Room contains fascinating models of ships such as The Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth both of which boast Clyde built.A wonderful place to visit.

Preston Bus was an independent employee owned Company, Until its sale to rival Stagecoach on the 23rd of January 2009. These Photo's are all Pre-Stagecoach.

Trams first came to the fore on the 29 September 1885 in Blackpool.Since then the Track, overhead wires and electrical infrastructure has been owned by Blackpool Borough Council and the Tramcars are owned by Blackpool Transport.The service runs almost every day of the year,except Christmas and New Year.Well worth a visit.

Home to the National Tramway Museum.The living museum is in Derbyshire overlooking the famous Derwent Valley.Trams run to and fro all day long,If you love Trams you will love this...

Gone are the eye catching liveries of The Glasgow Corporation,Strathclyde Buses,Clydeside and Kelvin from the streets of Glasgow, But there is still a wide variety of vehicles to attract the Bus enthusiast.

The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust was formed in 2002.The Trust has leased the former Bridgeton Bus Garage at 76-136 Fordneuk Street, Glasgow from Glasgow City Council. Highly Recommended.
