The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust held their annual Open Day at Bridgeton Bus Garage on 11th October 2009.As usual a large and varied collection of vehicles were on show in various stages of restoration. A frequent service also ran to The Museum of Transport. Many Thanks to all concerned for Yet another Top Class Event.

A selection of Photo's taken at The Birkenhead Bus and Tram show on 4th October 2009.This was the 12th annual event held by The Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society.The weather was kind at times, but nothing could dampen this well organised event. Many Thanks to all involved.I will certainly pay another visit. No doubt a lot of other people will pay a return visit too.

What a variety of vehicles and liveries were found in Leeds. I have not been back since these photo's were taken in 2002. I would bet it has changed quite a bit.

This collection contains photos taken at The Potteries Connection held at The Gladsone Potteries,Longton Stoke On Trent on 2nd August 2009.Along with a large collection of static vehicles the Event offers classic bus trips on a variety of routes.Thanks to everone concerned for a well organised event.See you all again next time.

Fleetwoods Tram Sunday Event is one of the most attended events in the U.K. It is unique as the whole town transforms into the setting for this event.It has something for everyone,Shops for the Ladies,stalls for the Enthusiast,Rides for the kids ( of all ages ) Pubs and Hamburgers and hotdogs. Oh ! and it has Trams ,Buses and vintage vehicles as well. Well worth a visit.

I took these Bus and Coach photo's in and around Preston.I wonder how many are still operating.Nothing seems to stay the same for any length of time nowadays.

I paid a visit to The Vale of Llangollen Travel around 2000/01 and found this wonderful selection of vehicles.

At the same time as my visit to VLT I paid a visit to Cardiff .I doubt there would be quite a varied selection today.

The Museum of Transport in housed in the Kelvin Hall. Glasgow,and is a very popular attraction.The museum's collection of transport ranges from horse-drawn vehicles to Trams,The Subway to Buses.and from cars to Steam Engines.
The Clyde Room contains fascinating models of ships such as The Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth both of which boast Clyde built.A wonderful place to visit.

The Ribble Vehicle Preservation Society staged The Last Operating Day at Chorley Bus Station on Sunday 13th April 2003. All the Photo's were taken at Chorley Bus Station,The Stagecoach Garage and what was to become The New Chorley Bus Station.

Preston Bus was an independent employee owned Company, Until its sale to rival Stagecoach on the 23rd of January 2009. These Photo's are all Pre-Stagecoach.

Trams first came to the fore on the 29 September 1885 in Blackpool.Since then the Track, overhead wires and electrical infrastructure has been owned by Blackpool Borough Council and the Tramcars are owned by Blackpool Transport.The service runs almost every day of the year,except Christmas and New Year.Well worth a visit.

Home to the National Tramway Museum.The living museum is in Derbyshire overlooking the famous Derwent Valley.Trams run to and fro all day long,If you love Trams you will love this...

Gone are the eye catching liveries of The Glasgow Corporation,Strathclyde Buses,Clydeside and Kelvin from the streets of Glasgow, But there is still a wide variety of vehicles to attract the Bus enthusiast.

The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust was formed in 2002.The Trust has leased the former Bridgeton Bus Garage at 76-136 Fordneuk Street, Glasgow from Glasgow City Council. Highly Recommended.
